Camelot Excel Academy North student Kenyon Castleberry received a shout- out in The Philadelphia Daily News!  The newspaper profiled Kenyon for his contributions as an assistant basketball coach and highlighted his achievements and future goals.  Originally from South Carolina, we are proud that Kenyon now calls Philly his home and is able to use his passion for basketball to help other local youth.

Kenyon, age 19, helps coach the after- school basketball program for sixth through eighth graders at Spruance School gym in Oxford Circle.  Through the program, Kenyon, who wants to be an automotive technician, acts as a role model for these middle school students as they improve on their team work and discipline through basketball.  It’s so great to see our Camelot students giving back to the community.

We’re so glad that The Philadelphia Daily News recognized the achievements of one of our great Camelot Excel Academy North students. We can’t wait to hear more about Kenyon in the future as he continues to contribute to this program and works to achieve his goals of graduating and attending Community College on a basketball scholarship.
